Regina’s unique performances were enhanced by vibrant lighting effects, thanks to the use of six Circa Scoop LED fixtures, a MEGA-LITE fixture designed with four elements that can be used in multiple applications. With 336 RGB LEDs, these fixtures produce an array of color combinations and dynamic visuals that serve as dazzling eye-candy effects. Positioned behind the artist, they framed her with elegance and light, adding to the immersive experience of the show.
Lighting designer Christopher Coyle chose the Circa Scoop LEDs due to the venue’s limited space, which restricted the installation of larger fixtures. Additionally, the versatile features of these LEDs made them ideal for transforming the atmosphere throughout the two-hour performance. “I was really pleased with how well this light could keep up with an artist whose sound ranges from classical to rock and everything in between. These lights were able to match the mood of all of it”, Christopher said.
He was particularly impressed with the dimming ability of the LEDs in these fixtures. “We run them really dim a lot of the time, and they performed well even at levels below 10%. No LED is perfect from 0% to 1%, but these were better than a lot of the options out there,” he added.
With a combination of Spektor’s captivating artistry and the carefully curated lighting design, the concerts became an unforgettable experience for fans.
